Journal Communications is a century old media company based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with 13 TV stations, 35 radio stations, and the flagship newspaper - the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. With the newspaper industry in flux over the past several years, Journal Communications wanted to make sure that they remained Milwaukee's main news source. Michael O'Brien, Journal Communications' VP of Information Technology, moved the company to Google Apps to create a more centralized company, with teams able to easily communicate and able to access their information anywhere, anytime, because, as Michael says, "that's what news is."
